Martina Schurmeyer ist die Inhaberin der Tangoschule Todo Tango. Sie bietet Tangokurse in Mönchengladbach, Dortmund, Schwerte und in den Landesverbänden an.
Martinas Tangogeschichte begann im Jahr 1995. Sie nimmt regelmäßig Unterricht bei einigen der bekanntesten Tanzpaare und verbringt jährlich Zeit in Buenos Aires.
Dabei legt sie großen Wert darauf, die Seele des argentinischen Tangos in ihrer Umgebung lebendig werden zu lassen. Sie vermittelt und lebt den Tango so, wie er heute in den Cafés von Buenos Aires getanzt wird: als Kunst des Führens und Sich-Führen-Lassens, als intensive Verschmelzung zweier Menschen mit der Musik.
In ihren Workshops und Kursen zeigen Martina und Todo Tango, dass Tango nicht nur ein System von Schritten ist, sondern ein intensiver Ausdruck von Lebensgefühl und lateinamerikanischer Geschichte.
